Newton Titanium

Description

After the successful Leonardo and Giotto, Newton is the third project designed, developed and produced 100% in Italy by its subsidiary Cressi Elettronica founded 4 years ago. It’s a construction computer completely modular, robust and reliable.
Cressi owns the quality control of its Software programming, its construction and production and the after-sale service. It’s an elegant and polyvalent option, under its latest and attractive watch is hiding a complete diving computer that highlights because of its versatility. It’s ideal to experienced divers or technical diving but it’s also extremely uncomplicated to intermediate diver because of its clear and simple information supply. Its mixed case made of stainless steel, Titanium and ABS anti-impact allows a great lightness, resistance to blows and esthetic aging. The computer’s case is extremely flat, and has a section without edges really hydrodynamic and its dimensions are rather contained (Ø51mm diameter), but the digit view is excellent.
The computer’s profile is extremely flat (14mm maximum height), it has a section without edges and with a completely rounded design, it’s highly hydrodynamic and avoids possible tears. Even the strap anchorage follows the case profile. The casing has a smart design that combines stainless steel with pretty resistant technopolymers. All the four push buttons are rounded, low-profiled, greatly integrated in the device, and have reduced spaces to ensure O-rings watertightness when working perfectly in vertical inclination and also to avoid the entrance of particles or little sand grains that could block them. Sapphire anti-scratch resistant mineral glass protected by a stainless steel rounded crown. It has four pushers to obtain a greater navigation facility and facility to remember the accession process to data and parameters’ modification. Wide UFDS (User Friendly Display System) screen of 35mm diameter vs 51mm of the whole case. It includes the well-known ease of navigation and menus of Cressi computers with software. Information layout, display contrast, proportions and digits’ size have been studied to facilitate its reading.
All data is segmented by division lines that facilitate its reading even in stress or emergency situation. Backlighted display used by the push button and in the event of an alarm. The menu and navigation system are identical to all Cressi computers, meaning with reading facility, data access and exemplary parameters’ modification. It’s remarkable the facility of configuration, of navigation through several menus and access to a great quantity of information that provides always very intuitively. It has complete Nitrox management with possibility of using two different EAN mixtures in only one dive. Air, Nitrox and Gauge modes. Reset option through menu. It eliminates the residual nitrogen memory to allow it to be used in diving centers or to be rented. The algorithm incorporates RGBM and deep stop (optional). The batteries’ duration has been prolonged by a combination of systems: economy mode when we don’t use the computer with automatic start. Low consumption processor and battery CR 2430 replaceable manually without tools. Interface with diving computer’s connection through simply holding the computer and PC connection with USB.
The software is suitable for all Windows and Mac versions. Gauge calibrated in salt water to obtain the maximum precision in its more usual usage.
It’s available in four colors:

  • black-grey
  • black-dark blue
  • white-black
  • white-pink
